Sustainability Strategies and Their Impact on Financial Performance: A Study of Environmental Costs, Environmental Performance, and CSR Disclosure for Mining Companies in Indonesia

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of environmental cost, environmental performance, and corporate social responsibility disclosure on financial performance. The sample in this research is the mining companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2018 – 2023. The companies samples of this research are 10 companies for 6 years, the total samples are 57 with 3 outlier data. The samples of this research were determined by a purposive sampling method. The hypothesis testing of this research used multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 29 Software. The results of this research indicate that environmental performance and corporate social responsibility have a positive effect on financial performance, meanwhile environmental cost has no effect on financial performance.
